June Garden Tour

OK, so I'm a few weeks late with this vlog... sorry about that! The truth is that with the heat and being busy back at work, while I had content to upload to YouTube, I never really had chance to get around to it.

That doesn't mean that the garden hasn't been busy though. In fact it's changed drastically since the video I took just a few Sundays ago.

If you'd like to take a look at some pictures I caught, then scroll to after the video for a look :)

In the meantime, here's the garden tour...

I've been enjoying the garden daily, recently the subtle changes really make me smile.

But it's hard to keep up with watering in a heatwave that has lasted here for 2 months already. I think I'll talk about that in another episode, to show you how I'm trying to get around it.

French Marigolds aren't doing their job against pests this year, but they are lovely! The thing I noticed is that I have had much better performance and plants from the ones I grew from seed.

The 'Onward' peas have been amazing... so many pods to pick and sweet too.

Lettuce is now finally in full swing and I haven't had to buy a bag this summer so far!

The 'Bull's Blood' Beet Lettuce has been attacked by caterpillars though... I've had to keep a very close eye on that.

Crystal Lemon Cucumbers I have never grow before, but these plants are really coming in to their own now.

Chillies... OMG the Chilli production looks like it could be amazing!

I picked the first of the Pak Choi (or Bak Choi)... I'm eating this raw from now on, it's delicious!

Getting to harvest almost everyday at the moment, which is lovely.

So tell me about your garden... what are you growing? How's it doing this year? How are you keeping it watered?
